Can I Get Pre-Settlement Funding If I Have Multiple Lawsuits?

Yes — having multiple pending lawsuits does not disqualify you. Each case is underwritten independently. You can apply for funding on one or all of your active cases.

Having multiple pending lawsuits does not disqualify you from pre-settlement funding. Each case is evaluated independently on its own merits — the liability evidence, expected recovery, case type, and jurisdiction of each individual matter. A plaintiff with three active cases could theoretically qualify for advances on all three, subject to each case meeting the underwriting criteria.

The practical coordination point is attorney involvement. Your attorney in each case must cooperate with the underwriting process. If different attorneys represent you in different matters, each attorney needs to separately cooperate with the funding review for their respective case.

Having existing pre-settlement funding on one case does not affect your eligibility for funding on a different case. The advances are secured by different lawsuits and are repaid from different settlements. There is no cross-collateralization between cases.

If you have multiple pending cases and need to prioritize, focus first on the case with the strongest liability, the largest expected recovery, and the most experienced attorney representation — these factors drive approval likelihood and advance amounts across all funders.
